Attention Providers of Nontraditional Educator Preparation Interested in Professional Accreditation

The National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) will conduct web seminars with providers of nontraditional educator preparation for the purpose of explaining the NCATE accreditation process, exploring the interest of alternative route programs in seeking NCATE accreditation and addressing questions or concerns related to the NCATE accreditation system. NCATE will organize the web seminars at no cost to participants. Participants must have internet and phone access. NCATE will rely on the results of a NAAC survey of its membership to identify web seminar participants. NCATE hopes to conduct the web seminars within the next two or three months.

If you are interesting in participating, please send an email response to Amy March, Associate for NCATE State Relations amy@ncate.org by January 15, 2010. Please include your name, position, email address, phone number, as well as the name and complete address of the alternate provider you represent. We will send you details and optional dates for the web seminars as soon as they become available. Interested in Professional Accreditation
